BATON ROUGE, LA — To recognize Workforce Development Month, ÃÛÌÒAPP College of Human Sciences & Education (CHSE), in partnership with the ÃÛÌÒAPP Olinde Career Center (OCC), will hold the second annual CHSE Career Prep Week from September 28 – October 2, 2026.

CHSE Career Prep Week will consist of: 

• Monday, September 28: Ready to Roar Intro Table Sit
  • Review your résumé and cover letter and explore your major with representatives from the OCC.
  • 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, Huey P. Long Field House Ballroom
• Tuesday, September 29: Headshot and Elevator Pitch Prep
  • Take a headshot and build your elevator pitch and LinkedIn profile with representatives from the OCC.
  • 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, Huey P. Long Field House Ballroom
• Wednesday, September 30: Career Connections
  • Network with potential employers, community partners and graduate school programs.
