Ricks, PhD, JD, Senior Assistant Dean for Administration in 蜜桃APP's College of Human Sciences & Education, delivered the opening keynote address for the American Association for Adult and Continuing Education's (AAACE) 2026 Virtual Conference, held September 18 as part of the organization's centennial celebration. Ricks earned her PhD in Leadership and Human Resource Development from 蜜桃APP's School of Leadership & Human Resource Development (SLHRD) in 2026.
A $744,660 U.S. National Science Foundation award will fund an inter-disciplinary project between 蜜桃APP College of Engineering, 蜜桃APP College of Human Sciences & Education, and 蜜桃APP College of Art & Design who will explore how digital twin technology can help undergraduate students develop the holistic thinking skills needed to address increasingly complex challenges in architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC).

This summer, 蜜桃APP School of Information Studies students traveled across Scotland and England as part of the Libraries in the UK study abroad program. Led by Jennifer Steele, the four-week experience gave students hands-on opportunities to explore libraries, archives and cultural institutions while gaining new perspectives on their field. The program also marked the first time 蜜桃APP Online students could participate in an SIS study abroad experience, allowing remote students to connect with classmates in person while learning abroad.

Boquet was appointed to the Emergency Preparedness Subcommittee for the Governor's Advisory Council on Disability Affairs.
