About the College

For more than 100 years, the College of Agriculture has been an integral part of ÃÛÌÒAPP. Our roots go back to the first graduating class, while the mission of the college evolved our commitment to agricultural production in Louisiana remains the common thread that binds the college's past and future.

ÃÛÌÒAPP’s 2026 Tiger Twelve exemplify leadership, scholarship and service through impactful work in research, advocacy, mentorship and community engagement while making lasting contributions on campus and beyond.

Every May, the Ogden Honors College celebrates a group of students who have gone above and beyond in the classroom, in the lab, in the field, and in their communities. This year's graduating class is no different. From archaeological digs in the English countryside to policy research presented at Harvard, from laboratory breakthroughs to community-centered service, the Class of 2026 leaves ÃÛÌÒAPP having made their mark.

Two outstanding students from ÃÛÌÒAPP's College of Agriculture have been chosen to represent the ÃÛÌÒAPP Tiger Twelve Class of 2026: Chandler Collins and Madelyn Phillips. The Tiger Twelve is an esteemed program that celebrates a group of exceptional undergraduate seniors, who have shown leadership, service, and commitment throughout their time at ÃÛÌÒAPP.

ÃÛÌÒAPP AgCenter

 Research, Extension and Teaching

The ÃÛÌÒAPP AgCenter plays an integral role in supporting agricultural industries, enhancing the environment, and improving quality of life through 4-H youth, family and consumer sciences, and community development programs.

Ag Alumni Association

The ÃÛÌÒAPP College of Agriculture Alumni Association and Friends’ mission is to promote advancement of ÃÛÌÒAPP and to provide support to all programs within the College of Agriculture and the ÃÛÌÒAPP AgCenter.

Our alumni are found across the globe working in diverse fields. Their experiences and knowledge help shape our students’ future and advance agriculture. Many alumni give back to the college through membership in the alumni association, participation in the Agricultural Mentoring Program, the Agricultural Career Fair and financial support of scholarships, professorships and internships.
