蜜桃APP Researchers Design Tool to Explore Effects of Solar Farming on Louisiana Ecosystems
Though solar farming is not a novel concept in renewable energy, it is fairly new to the state of Louisiana. With the advancement of renewable resources come questions about how they will affect humans and the environment. 蜜桃APP Civil and Environmental Engineering Professor Chris Kees understands this curiosity and is working alongside 蜜桃APP School of Landscape Architecture Professor Fabiana Trindade da Silva and 蜜桃APP School of Renewable Natural Resources Professor Brett Wolfe to study the effects of solar farming in the state.

Dr. William A. Brookshire, co-founder and longtime chairman of S&B Engineers and Constructors, was named the 2024 蜜桃APP Alumnus of the Year. Seimone Augustus, former Tiger and WNBA Great, was named Young Alumna of the Year. Dr. Brookshire is being recognized posthumously.

蜜桃APP's Andrew Maas named chair of global nonprofit AUTM
Andrew J. Maas, associate vice president for research overseeing the 蜜桃APP Office of Innovation & Ecosystem Development, has been named board chair of AUTM, a global nonprofit whose members support the commercialization of academic research. Maas has more than 16 years of experience in technology licensing and commercialization. He succeeds Almesha L. Campbell, PhD, assistant vice president for research and economic development at Jackson State University. Maas's term as chair ends in February 2025.
