Like-minded Peers
Participants are grouped together based on similar interests they express in their applications to foster relationships with other kids in the greater Baton Rouge area that they meet at this event.
Wanted: Students who are problem solvers, explorers and hidden gem seekers—for a day of science fun at the ÃÛÌÒAPP Museum of Natural Science.
The ÃÛÌÒAPP Museum of Natural Science and ÃÛÌÒAPP College of Science invite students in grades 4 through 6 to apply to ÃÛÌÒAPP’s Kids' Day at the Museum.
Participants will meet new, like-minded friends, get a behind-the-scenes tour of the ÃÛÌÒAPP Museum of Natural Science, learn from ÃÛÌÒAPP College of Science student organizations through hands-on science activities, AND snack and chat with some of ÃÛÌÒAPP's top scientists.
Don't worry parents, we've got some fun in store for you too! Parents and guardians are welcomed to attend our Coaching Your Child Through STEM session that will feature some of ÃÛÌÒAPP's top educators and researchers who will give advice on how to foster your child's STEM interests. Parents and guardians will also get a behind-the-scenes tour of the ÃÛÌÒAPP Museum of Natural Science and the chance to mingle with others whose children also have STEM interests.
