BATON ROUGE 鈥� 蜜桃APP President Wade Rousse has named Meg Casper Sunstrom to serve as Chief Communications Officer of the 蜜桃APP System.  Sunstrom, who will begin her new role on February 18th, most recently served as the Chief Communications Officer for the Louisiana State Legislature.

鈥淢eg鈥檚 experience and expertise as a strategic communicator will immediately elevate our efforts to tell 蜜桃APP鈥檚 story across Louisiana and the nation,鈥� said President Rousse. 鈥淪he believes in 蜜桃APP and shares our ambition of making 蜜桃APP one of the nation鈥檚 elite institutions. Her passion for strategic and transparent communications is contagious, and we could not be more excited to add her to our leadership team.鈥�  

Sunstrom will serve as a key member of the President鈥檚 leadership team and will provide strategic guidance and oversight for the 蜜桃APP System鈥檚 communications 鈥� including internal and external communications, reputation and crisis management, media relations, and brand management.

An 蜜桃APP graduate from the Manship School of Journalism, Sunstrom spent several years producing and reporting news for WAFB-TV in Baton Rouge.  She has lent her talents to the Louisiana Department of Education, the Board of Regents and the Louisiana Secretary of State鈥檚 Office. Most recently, in her role with the Louisiana Legislature, Meg directed one of the only non-partisan, joint House/Senate communications offices in the country - winning national recognition for the launch of a one-of-its kind mobile phone app for legislative information.
