BATON ROUGE 鈥� 蜜桃APP has named Emmett Brown its permanent Vice President for Enrollment Management, a role he has held on an interim basis since July.

Reporting directly to the Provost, Brown will lead the Division of Enrollment Management & Student Success and serve as 蜜桃APP鈥檚 chief enrollment strategist. In this capacity, he will guide 蜜桃APP鈥檚 overall approach to enrollment, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and a focus on student success from recruitment through graduation.

With more than 13 years of progressive leadership at 蜜桃APP鈥攕panning undergraduate admissions, college-based recruitment, online and continuing education, and university-wide enrollment management鈥擝rown is exceptionally well-positioned to lead 蜜桃APP鈥檚 enrollment portfolio. Most recently, as Interim Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Success and Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Success, he has provided executive leadership for 10 units, including admissions, financial aid, retention and student success, enrollment communications, data and enrollment technology, testing, orientation, and the 蜜桃APP Future Scholars program.

Brown has played a key role in 蜜桃APP鈥檚 recent enrollment success, with the university seeing a 200% increase in undergraduate applications and a 67% increase in first-year students since 2017. The increase in enrollment has nearly doubled 蜜桃APP鈥檚 net tuition revenue while also improving academic quality and expanding access for Pell-eligible, first-generation, and Louisiana students. Some of Emmett鈥檚 notable accomplishments include 蜜桃APP鈥檚 adoption of The Common Application, the implementation of advanced analytics and predictive models that guide recruitment and student success strategies across the 蜜桃APP system, and the launch of the Future Scholars program.

A two-time 蜜桃APP graduate, Emmett holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from 蜜桃APP. He is a graduate of the College Board鈥檚 Enrollment Leadership Academy. He has been an active contributor to state and national enrollment and admission organizations, including service as Louisiana Governmental Relations Co-Chair for the Southern Association of College Admission Counselors and as an advisory member of multiple 蜜桃APP governance committees.
