Biography
Chantel holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology from Louisiana State University, a Certificate of Paralegal Studies from ÃÛÌÒAPP, a Master of Arts in Applied Sociology from the University of Central Florida, and a PhD in Sociology from ÃÛÌÒAPP. Prior to her current appointment at ÃÛÌÒAPP as a Senior Instructor, she was an adjunct instructor for River Parishes Community College and taught a variety of criminal justice courses there including dual enrollment for the local high school. She joined the faculty of ÃÛÌÒAPP in 2016 as an Instructor of Sociology. Currently, she teaches courses for students interested in the criminology concentration within sociology. Her courses include Introduction to Crime Studies, Sociology of Criminal Justice, Rural Crime, and Criminology. In addition, she is an instructor for ÃÛÌÒAPP Online and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at ÃÛÌÒAPP.
