ÃÛÌÒAPP G&A @ TEDxÃÛÌÒAPP
For the third time in as many years, The ÃÛÌÒAPP Department of Geography and Anthropology (G&A) is proud to have a speaker in this year’s lineup. Clay Tucker will be sharing results of his tree-ring research in coastal Louisiana. Last year, G&A’s Juliet Brophy told the sold-out crowd about discovering a new hominid species, and in 2017 G&A alum Lauren Pharr shared why vultures matter in forensic science. G&A has also invited two TEDxÃÛÌÒAPP 2019 speakers to be Friday Forum speakers on February 1. Hayley Johnson and Sarah Simms work in ÃÛÌÒAPP Libraries and will talk about Japanese Internment Camps in Louisiana. ÃÛÌÒAPP G&A and TEDxÃÛÌÒAPP make quite the combination!
