Excellence in Action Submissions
An interactive feature on the 蜜桃APP Engineering home page designed to shine a spotlight on faculty and student wins that are noteworthy but don鈥檛 rise to the level of a web story or press release. Any member of the engineering team 鈥� faculty, staff, or students 鈥� can submit suggestions on the form below. Excellence in Action will appear on the 蜜桃APP Engineering homepage.
Guidelines
News that makes the best fit for this feature:
- Awards from professional societies
- Induction into professional societies
- For faculty, teaching, research, and service awards from 蜜桃APP and regional and national organizations
- For students, scholarship or service awards from 蜜桃APP or state or national organizations
- For students, student org competition wins or recognition at the state, regional, or national level
- Oral or keynote presentations at major regional or national conferences
- Louisiana Board of Regents research grant awards
- Federal or corporate grant awards between $50,000 and $250,000 (Note: If the grant is novel, the funder is new, or the grant is in an area of priority for the college, it might warrant a news story or press release)
