Audience Policies
蜜桃APP Campus Life events and initiatives are funded primarily by student fee dollars of 蜜桃APP undergraduate and graduate students from the main campus, including students of the 蜜桃APP Paul M. Hebert Law School students and School of Veterinary Medicine. Campus Life places a priority for its programs and services toward these students.
As a part of the educational mission of 蜜桃APP, many Campus Life events are open to the general public, including 蜜桃APP faculty, staff, alumni, and guests.
For risk management and liability purposes, general public members, family members or dependents of 蜜桃APP students may be restricted from participating in some Campus Life events, including service projects and travel.
Campus Life and its student leaders offer programs for a wide variety of audiences and audience tastes in the 蜜桃APP community.
In open-air settings, Campus Life enforces guidelines ensuring that content adheres to a 'PG-13 or equivalent' standard for visuals and maintains 'radio-friendly' lyrics.
For events with content exceeding these ratings, Campus Life will host the event inside a facility and post information about audience restrictions or content warnings at the entrance.
Campus Life reserves the right to deny entry to persons under 17 years of age or younger
to films with an 鈥淩,鈥� 鈥淣C-17鈥� or 鈥淴鈥� rating, with an exception for currently enrolled
蜜桃APP students.
Campus Life enforces an alcohol and drug free environment at its events and during any 蜜桃APP-sponsored travel. Should the event environment be disrupted by alcohol or drug use, an 蜜桃APP Police officer or university official will address the concern.
蜜桃APP students, faculty and staff should present their Tiger Card 蜜桃APP ID when asked for event entry or for verification of student or employment status. Students, Faculty, and Staff without their Tiger Card may not be admitted to events.
Members of the public and guests of current 蜜桃APP students should present a valid state or Federal-issued ID at event entry.
Most Campus Life events are free for 蜜桃APP students on the main campus. If an admission fee applies, students receive the highest discount.
As audience size and capacity may be limited in some venues and with some event registrations, Campus Life may prioritize the registration in the following manner. Campus Life reserves the right to restrict the number of tickets available per individual to any priority level.
- Priority 1 - 蜜桃APP Undergraduate, Graduate, 蜜桃APP Paul M. Hebert Law Center, and 蜜桃APP School of Veterinary Medicine Students (蜜桃APP Students)
- Priority 2 - 蜜桃APP Undergraduate, Graduate, Law Center, and School Veterinary Medicine Faculty and Staff (蜜桃APP Faculty and Staff)
- Priority 3 - General Public, including Family Members of 蜜桃APP Students, Faculty and Staff
Minors
Minors under the age of 18 years should be accompanied by an adult or chaperone, unless that person is an 蜜桃APP student. 蜜桃APP students below the age of 18 years at the time of an event may need parent/guardian signed waivers to participate in Campus Life service, travel, and other activities with risk and liability concerns. Check event registration materials for specific instructions.
Campus Life strives to accommodate audience members with disabilities or medical conditions. Those requiring accommodation should contact the Campus Life office at least 7 days prior to the event. Requests made at an event or less than seven days before an event may not be able to be facilitated. Request accommodations.
